Perpetual Pilgrims

Are you considering joining the Pilgrimage for the whole seven days? This pilgrimage links the Catholic Church of St George in Worcester along mainly long-distance paths to Clifton Cathedral in Bristol. Ending each evening at a Catholic Church and starting from the same Catholic Church the next day.

Start and Finish Transportation

All Perpetual Pilgrims will need to make their own way to the starting point, perhaps by train to Worcester or a lift by car. They must also find their own way from the finishing point of Clifton Cathedral.

Praying

There will be opportunities for prayer along the route as well as a Mass at the end of each day, except Sunday when it is hoped we will have Adoration and Benediction.

Accommodation and Meals

Accommodation and meal options are being looked into. Some may have to be paid for by the Perpetual Pilgrims themselves.

Walking Gear

Please note pilgrims will be required to bring their own sleeping bags, pillow cover, towel and toiletries.

Fitness Needs

The route is strenuous given it goes through the Malvern Hills and the Cotswold Hills. As a Perpetual Pilgrim you will need to maintain an average of 4kph including stops for up to 7 hours in a day for 7 days.
