The Saint Wulstan Pastoral Area is privileged to host the relics of Saint Gerard Majella on Tuesday 2nd June as part of their tour of England and Wales to mark Saint Gerard’s 300th anniversary. The relics will be at Saint Peter’s, Gloucester, from 6:00pm for private prayer (there will also be opportunity for the Sacrament of Reconciliation until 6:45pm). There will be a Mass at 7:00pm, followed by individual or family blessings with the relics. Saint Gerard is a great patron of mothers, couples looking to conceive, those looking for work, and making a good confession.

Born in Italy in 1726, Saint Gerard was a Redemptorist brother known for his holiness, charity, and deep love for Christ and Our Lady. Many people throughout the world continue to seek his intercession in family life, pregnancy, illness, and times of difficulty.

All are warmly welcome to attend this special evening of prayer, whether from the parish or further afield.
